Dog Training In Your Home was established in 1989 in Charlotte North Carolina. Our philosophy is simple: we teach your dog to be a well behaved family member. In many cases your dog’s home environment is enabling bad behavior, so the home is the most logical place for training. Our services are designed to make training your dog fun for you and your dog, while getting immediate results.
You can help your puppy learn to stop whining by not g,oing to him when he whines. By ignoring your puppy, and only giving him attention and praise when he stops whining, he’ll learn that whining and whimperig is not the way to earn your approval.

Marsha was incredible. I didn’t think my bichon could be cured of his jumping and barking and toileting in the house. After explaining the methods to me we did an intervention and I could see the immediate change in his behavior. Now I can have people visit my home!
Most of the time we keep him in his crate which is large enough for him to stand and can easily stress his legs. Only for giving him food and potty we take him out and sometimes for playing with him. Rest of the time he lives in the crate only and he is comfortable in it.”

We took a wrong turn somewhere in the evolution of training and now go about the retrieving and steadying processes in a totally illogical manner. We take a young dog and give him hundreds of retrieves with no restraint. For the first thousand retrieves, we encourage the dog to take off at will after the falling dummy. Then, after we have him well trained to break, we change the rules inscription entreprise individuelle decide to make him steady—which requires a certain amount of punishment to counteract the breaking behavior we have just trained.
“The best decision I could have made for my new career. Within weeks of graduation I was offered a management position at a local dog day care. I also just accepted an internship at a well known dog shelter. I am part of the behavioral team, doing assessments and training for the shelter dogs. These opportunities have endless possibilities. I am looking forward to welcoming new clients soon.” – Jenny H., Master Class Graduate
Does Lucky love the company of other dogs? Does she enjoy play with young dogs and puppies? If yes then I’d say go for it. If not, it might be a better idea to hold off. Is there a way you can test this by having her spend time with another puppy? This could be a good idea.
Dogs are pack animals. They are genetically geared to work with others – be it other dogs or humans. However, they need leadership and boundaries if they’re to be truly happy. Part of being a responsible owner is to realize your dog requires more from you than just food, water, and the occasional walk.
Our customized puppy management program includes fast track housebraking and potty training, general obedience, walking to heel, sit / stay, teaching not to jump up, stopping mouthing, chewing and teaching recall and distance control.
