I’m that kind of person who likes to be prepared. Before our new member of the family arrived I have read all smart books about how to train the dog. I thought I’m the dog whisperer! Easy right? But t…hen reality comes and I’m facing this four legs and tail with head full of information- and nothing turns out like i thought it would! I was lucky to meet RD- professional, loving what she’s doing and most of all patient (not only toward dogs but their owners too) dog trainer. Few hours together and I could see positive changes in my dog http://rentabilisermapassion.org/french/comment-demarrer-et-developper-une-entreprise-en-ligne-performante-_des-idees-de-petites-entreprises-pour-grandir/ me! There is still lots of work but we are getting there! See More

The longer you wait, the longer it takes to fix the issues your having, which can end up costing you more in the long run. Not only is it harder to fix the issues with the dog, but you also leave yourself open to lawsuits, should you have an aggressive dog or a dog with behavior issue. Dog training is always cheaper than a lawsuit … Don’t take a chance … Dayton Dog Trainer can fix your dog!
Some say it’s a dog’s willingness to ‘obey’ their handler. However, as I prefer the idea of working with our dogs as a team, I try to avoid using the word ‘obey’. However, that’s really the end result.

Mny thanks for the site. In India pups are always provided at 40 days as a standard. I wish i’d read your site earlier and followed your advice on taking our lab put at 8 weeks. He came to us at 40 days and is now going to turn 12 weeks tomorrow. We love him to death and is spoilt silly. He is the new baby in the family and asks for attention when he doesnt get it like when we have to leave him some time and go downstairs. He is super chatty and tries to communicate all the time. The problem though is he is a barky and neighbours arent taking well to all the noise. Am not sure if there is anything i can do about it. Please help.
P.S. In the back of the book is a 27-word glossary of dog sledding terms, as well as a labeled diagram of a dog sled team. Keep in mind, too, that the sled dogs apparently are penned or chained when not running, something that may disturb some readers.

This can be one of the more difficult commands in dog obedience training. Why? Because the position is a submissive posture. You can help by keeping training positive and relaxed, particularly with fearful or anxious dogs.
Some people just have an innate ability to connect with dogs and truly understand their behavior–RD is certainly one of those people! We welcomed 2 year old Charlie into our home about a month ago. …A loving, wonderful, smart dog–he aimed to please except that as soon as we put on a leash, he would just lay down. In one session, RD was able to have him trotting happily by our side–training US as well as him to identify the problematic behavior and correct it. She read him like a book, explaining to us what she was seeing as she saw it while simultaneously helping him to work through it. Thank you, RD!! See More
The best way to potty train a puppy depends on your lifestyle and the amount of time you have to leave your puppy unsupervised. Read through the two methods to discover which is the right one for you and your family.
In order to train your Labrador effectively, you’ll need the right tools for the job. The next few articles discuss the various tools and equipment available and how and when you should use them…if at all…as I do not recommend them all.
Teach children not to shriek, run or flap their hands because this will engage the puppy’s natural prey instincts and add to the problem. Children should remain calm and keep their hands closed and close to their bodies.
Another great benefit is that they never ever crate the dogs for “nap” time. I don’t know about you, but my dog can nap plenty at home. When I take him to dog school, I know he is going to have 100% fun for 100% of the day!
Does the instructor have experience training dogs? If possible, observe the instructor with her own dog or dogs. If she has an adult dog, is he well behaved? Does the dog usually obey? What does the trainer do when he makes a mistake? If she has a puppy, is she patient but persistent when handling him? Yelling, hitting, shoving—rough methods in general—are a red flag. And an instructor whose adult dog is poorly behaved probably can’t help you train a good canine citizen.
Does the instructor seem to be knowledgeable about dogs and dog training? Has she attended seminars, workshops, and advanced classes? Does she read to keep up with the ever-growing body of knowledge about how dogs (and people) learn? Can she apply the knowledge she has or just spout theory and drop names?
