This can be one of the more difficult commands in dog obedience training. Why? Because the position is a submissive posture. You can help by keeping training positive and relaxed, particularly with fearful or anxious dogs.

RD is amazing! Seriously, best dog trainer I’ve ever worked with! And there has been a few. When my girlfriend told me she booked an appointment for our dog troubles I was skeptical, to say creer une societe en ligne least…. She arrived on time, she introduced herself and got immediately to work. I have a German Shepherd that has aggression issues and a few others. We put our dog in his kennel prior to her arrival. She asked us to exit the room so there were no extra energies (fear from us) present. Within five minutes our dog had silenced his disapproval of her presence in ‘his’ house and she invited us back into the room. To our amazement, our dog was out of his kennel, and leashed by her side. This was shocking! I never would’ve believed it if I wasn’t there as a witness. She diagnosed our dog, showed us how to work him past his issues and take control of our household again. Her rates are affordable, she’s incredibly intelligent and a downright cool person to work with. I highly, highly, highly recommend giving her a chance to earn your business! You won’t regret it. Matt and his family live off the grid with few modern day conveniences. His parents believe in Free Range kids. Matt gets a lot of taunting in school and has even been called Smoky because of his aroma of the family’s wood burning stove. Matt tends to learn by doing rather than book learning so math class is getting difficult for him. His teacher gives the class a chance to earn some extra math credit by starting a business and reporting the profit/loss to the class.

Jen and the staff at PRO K-9 have had such a positive impact on my family and my dog. Homer was a high strung, anxiety filled basket case, highly protective of us and our home. Homer and I now love going for walks and to socialization class to be around other dogs and strangers—something that would have NEVER happened without PRO K-9!

Are the facilities adequate? Is there enough room to accommodate the class safely and comfortably? Is the place reasonably clean? Is the footing good so that you and your dog won’t slip? Is the outdoor potty area reasonably clean?

They did not let my 13 month join as despite having the core vaccines, she does not have LEPTO 4 vaccine – my vet is perfectly happy with this. My last girl died 9 days after this vaccine so I was no…t letting my new girl have it. Dog School have refused us join advanced classes because she has not had LEPTO 4. Really upset 🙁 When my dog started puppy classes else where, they were perfectly happy that she hadn’t had this particular vaccine. See More

We’ve only been to the South Street location…When I took Miles there for the first time, I first fell in love with the fact that it’s basically a huge open room, with a large window in the front. There was plenty of space and toys to keep my little guy busy for quite some time, as well as super sweet doggie friends for him to play with for hours and hours!

Rewarding the puppy by giving it a treat after wearing the muzzle can help the dog associate the muzzle with something good. This makes it less likely to be wary of you or aggressive, and it makes the whole process easier for both you and the dog.

Teaching your dog to reliably follow your commands is almost as important as giving them adequate food, shelter and water. It’s a necessary skill that they must develop for us to live in harmony together.

With time, dogs have become an important part of human households, where they are seldom treated as working mates. Unlike people of the 18th century, dog owners of today consider their pets as one of their family members and go out of their way to provide the latter with the best of training, diet, grooming and care.

One-to-one training at your home. Puppy training begins at 10 weeks of age. Dogs of all ages can receive basic, intermediate, or advanced dog training; therapy dog training; AKC Canine Good Citizen training; and evaluations. If your dog is demonstrating aggression toward people, other dogs, food, etc., we can offer assistance.

Moreover, training precision lining and long-distance handling require a great deal of repetition and some degree of punishment. The dog that excels at these skills tends to be hyperactive, with a high pain threshold, which is exactly the type of dog we are breeding today.

After ONE session with RD, we are seeing drastic improvement in our pup… ok, really it’s drastic improvement in ourselves. RD showed us how we have been giving the wrong signals to our dog, so while… trying to correct the behavior we were actually reinforcing the wrong behavior. We are filled with hope. For the first time in over a year, we went on a walk that was peaceful. I got home feeling calm rather than worked up, so did the pup– and because our dog is a 160 lb Mastiff, it’s the first walk that I didn’t have to immediately make an appointment with the chiropractor afterward!! Thank you, RD we are SOOOO incredibly grateful! See More

The expert judges on Celebrity Dog School were Steve Austin, who is Australia’s premier dog trainer, and Dr Julie Summerfield, who is a qualified veterinarian and is currently the resident vet in the program 9am with David and Kim.

This 6-week introductory group class focuses on socialization and is designed to teach your puppy basics including “sit”, loose leash walking and to come when called. This dog training class also covers problem-solving ideas for potty training, chewing, teething, digging and more.

RD really understands dogs and their humans’ behavior. She’s so possitive and relaxed, gives amazing feedback and really helped me personally learn how to better communicate with my very large pitbull we adopted from the pound. My main challenge was keeping my dog calm on the leash and focused on me. I’ve had two sessions so far, and after the first one we experienced amazing improvement. So exciting! So grateful!

“Come!” This one is, by far, the most important. If you see your dog running into an unsafe area, you can get them to immediately come back. This is especially important if your dog escapes and is running down the street after something that he shouldn’t. This command should be fool proof. No matter how exciting the stimulation, your dog should always drop whatever they are doing and return to you when called. (Related: Train your lab to come on cue)

also my pup sleeps all day and is awake late night , he barks and tries to get my attention, though he has many toys he still wants me to be with him and i am completely exhausted at that point of time, i have no choice but to leave him alone . is it bad for the puppy if i leave him unattended?

It’s hardly surprising many people have barking problems with their dogs, since most dogs have no idea whether barking is something good or bad. That’s because our reaction to his barking is confusing to the dog. In his eyes, when he barks, he is sometimes ignored, while at other times he is shouted at to stop, and then again he may be encouraged to bark if, for example, there’s a suspicious stranger nearby.

I toke and will remain to take my Cocker Spaniel. She twists and squirms around, like puppys do, but she is the love of my life. They toke excellent care, making sure she wasn’t too excited, gave her …an excellent bath, trimmed her perfectly, at other locations they didn’t have the patients to trim her face which in turn caused ear infections, at TEXAS ALLBREED grooming, they got everything trimmed and also saved those long eye lashes. I am so happy with the results!! See More
