“where to get your dog trained |best dog training methods”

I know nothing of what training you do with him, how much, how often, how you go about it and so on. But obviously you’re not happy with the results you’re getting. The thing is, most labs can be trained ‘by the book’, by which I mean the common or garden methods that you read in books, or websites (like this one.) But not all dogs are the same and some dogs don’t respond as well as others. Also (and please, please don’t take offense as this is not meant that way) it may be that you aren’t using techniques, body language, signals, tone of voice and so on that he can understand or wants to respond to.

also my pup sleeps all day and is awake late night , he barks and tries to get my attention, though he has many toys he still wants me to be with him and i am completely exhausted at that point of time, i have no choice but to leave him alone . is it bad for the puppy if i leave him unattended?

I bought this book– the kindle edition– for my kindergarden aged grandson. He is learning to read and the short, rhyming sentences are fun for him. It kept his attention all the way to the end. He loved the story and the pictures. His two year old sister sat and listened as we read it. At the end, she said “do school dog again, please!” That’s very rare for her .I just wish I’d bought the paper edition rather than have it on my tablet–It looks as though it will be a favorite for a very long time!

I have a year old male lab. I am having trouble with him roaming and stealing stuff in neighbors yards. One neighbor has complained . I don’t want to chain him up all the time. Any ideas what I can do?

We can drop him off as early as 7:30 and pick him up as late as 7. This is convenient for us for our crazy work schedules but also gives Ponyboy a good amount of time to get the wiggles out and be a kid. Ponyboy lives the life all day (Dog School posts pics on Facebook and Twitter throughout the day) and he comes home tuckered out. We are grateful that he is 1) getting plenty of exercise in school fooling around with others dogs and his favorite toy, the big purple ball, 2) is taken on a midday walk and 3) clocking sufficient networking time with other dogs…how else is he going to climb the social and professional ladder? And there is the added benefit that, even on days we do not take Ponyboy to the dog park, he is not bored and has completely stopped any destructive behavior in the house since starting at Dog School.

I was told about the grooming school and said if your not to picky you’ll like it. Well they superseded my expectations by 100%! I was so excited to see the beautiful job they did on my baby. I booked an appointment for our problem child lab lol and she look so good too.

We have also used the dog walking service and loved it. It’s super easy to set up and the walkers were trustworthy, prompt, and never skimped on time. I highly recommend both the daycare and the dog walking!
